Band Biography | ||
Neil, Dave, Dean and Scott, who started playing together as a band in the mid nineties, becoming the B-Movie Heroes at the start of 1997, were bought back up to full strength at the start of 2001 by the return to ranks of Neil Phillips, who had spent a couple of years away from the band experiencing the ups and downs of the rock and roll lifestyle with the Yo-Yo's. Armed with plenty of experience and the power which comes from five plus years of hard graft rehearsing and gigging around the UK together the B-Movie Heroes spent the best part of 2001 building up their already loyal fan base. The B-Movie Heroes have established themselves as one of the hardest working bands in the country, winning an impressive following that is carrying on where the Yo-Yo's left off. Combine that hard work ethic with some of the most exciting and stunning new rock music in today's scene and you have a band who are making people notice by playing the game on their own terms. Their music is uncompromising yet memorable, aggressive yet subtle and by linking the full on guitars and pounding rhythm section with 3 part bitter sweet harmonies they just about manage to soften the blow enough to leave you wanting more. Check out the band at any live show, or hook yourself up with a copy of their debut E.P. "Just Say Anything" to see what all the fuss is about |
